Art became work. The work became a studio.
Steven Hopman drew, painted and created graffiti long before he held a tattoo machine. Today he turns that visual language into work people carry with them.

Six years of freelance experience, followed by a studio on his own terms.
Let Ink Be grew from a desire to make better work: more calm, more attention and direct contact with the person the design is for.
At the studio on Dorlandweg 3, Steven can set his own pace. No anonymous production line and no design that becomes “good enough” after ten minutes. He listens, asks difficult questions and says so when a detail, size or placement will not work.
That honesty is part of the craft. A tattoo is permanent, so the advice should carry weight too.
