How does the skin move?
A design on an arm, shoulder or knee needs to respect natural lines and movement.
How sensitive is the area?
Thin skin and areas close to bone often feel more intense, although pain remains personal.
How does the area wear?
Fingers, palms and feet experience heavy friction, so no touch-up guarantee applies there.
Let the composition work with your body
Arms, shoulders, legs and the back provide room. Wrists, ankles, collarbones, necks and ribs require more precise choices in scale and direction. Scars, skin texture and existing tattoos can also affect placement.
Bring your preferred placement to the consultation, but remain open to advice. A small shift can turn an image placed on skin into a design that truly belongs there.
